Barry was born in austrailia in 1953. He is one of twins, and had 4 other brothers as well. He moved to Pinvin where he grew up and went to school in the local area. In adult life he woked in Pershore and was known as a "loveable rogue". Barry Smith was a brilliant dad and was always there for his kids. Even though he only had one biological daughter he took on many other children in his life and ensured they had a decent education and was always there for support. He died in march 2011 aged 58 years old after so bravely fighting lung, liver and bladder cancer. He never complained once and even to the end was strong for his kids. A brave man who as his biological daughter is proud of, and is honoured to be his daughter. xxx
